We offer special walk-in hours at The Dalles Clinic to provide access for farmworkers. Farmworker clinics start at the beginning of cherry harvest in June, and end in August once the majority of non-permanent farmworkers have left the area. Farmworkers can see a provider for any health concern, including chronic diseases like diabetes.
Onsite education on topics including behavioral health, diabetes, oral health, and vision health – customizable to your needs.
La Clinica, OCH’s Mobile Medical Clinic provides medical and behavioral health services at locations throughout the Gorge. This makes it easier than ever for your employees to access the care they need. You can request La Clinica visits at your location, or a central location convenient for multiple farms and packing facilities. Find more info on our mobile health services here.
We understand cost can be a common barrier and we offer financial assistance resources and programs that can help. OCH’s Patient Care Advocates (PCAs) will help you and your employees navigate insurance eligibility, applications, renewals, and available discount programs.
We offer assistance with insurance enrollment, including Healthier Oregon and Medicaid, which many farmworkers will qualify for. Our PCAs are certified Oregon Health Plan and Washington Medicaid (Apple Health) assisters. Find more information, including online scheduling, here.
