Farmworker Clinics
June 17th to July 31, 2025 – Tuesdays and Thursdays 3-6pm
One Community Health partners with agricultural employers to keep farmworkers healthy and working. We offer medical, dental, and behavioral health services—on-site, in clinic, or through our mobile unit—to reduce time away from the job.
WHAT WE OFFER
Clinic Services
Medical, dental and behavioral health. Special walk-in hours at The Dalles Clinic for farmworkers.
Education
We offer an extensive selection of health related education to improve Farmworkers well-being. This includes Salud diabetes education, illness prevention, mental health, heat stress and hydration, staying healthy while working outdoors, first-aid in agriculture, treating soreness/strains at home.
Mobile Health Services
La Clinica offers acute care, chronic disease management, and preventive services—and can visit orchards or central sites by arrangement with our Outreach team.
Insurance Enrollment
Assistance enrolling eligible workers, including H2A workers, in Medicaid/Oregon Health Plan, plus sliding scale discounts and other financial help based on income.

We offer special walk-in hours and access to our new Pharmacy at The Dalles Clinic for all farmworkers.

Healthcare
We offer services out of OCH’s The Dalles Clinic, Hood River Clinic, express clinic, and mobile clinics, to include:
- Special walk-in hours at The Dalles Clinic for farmworkers

- Basic vision exams
- Dental care, including emergencies
- Diabetes and chronic disease support
- Behavioral health support
- Group classes like Zumba and yoga
- All services are in Spanish and English

Health Insurance and Discounts
OCH’s Patient Care Advocates (PCAs) will help you navigate insurance eligibility, applications, renewals, and available discount programs.
- Help enrolling in health insurance and understanding your benefits.
- Sign up for discounts on services based on your income through our sliding-scale discount program
- Many more people now qualify for Medicaid insurance, including people who are not US citizens!

Dental Care
In addition to regular dental services we also offer emergency dental care for patients and non-patients. Our clinics in Hood River and The Dalles offer first-come, first-served if space allows. Plan to arrive at the clinic when doors open at 7:30 am.

Vaccinations
Quick and efficient immunization clinics for flu, COVID, tetanus, hepatitis, and other illnesses to keep you healthy and protected.
- Screening/testing during employee orientation and onboarding. We also offer COVID at-home testing kits.

- Prevention education and operations evaluations

Diabetes and Chronic Disease Support
We provide education and support to patients living with chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity.
- Our community health workers and diabetes registered nurses can help you manage your blood sugar if you have prediabetes or diabetes.
- Help getting low-cost medicines for diabetes and other chronic diseases.
